Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over a medium-high heat.
- Add onions and sauté until caramelized (10 minutes)
- Add garlic, ginger and sauté until fragrant
- Add meat. Break apart until meat is browned and cooked through.
- Drain the fat (if any, optional)
- Add Five spice, other seasonings, soy sauce, and stir.
- Add 1/4 cup broth, a package of coleslaw, stir lightly, and cover the pan with the lid.
- Lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes
- Cool down a little and then it’s time to stuff the egg roll wrappers!
- Spoon approximately 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto each egg roll wrapper and fold according to package directions, using the beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrappers.
- Arrange stuffed egg rolls in the air fryer basket
- Air fry at 380 F for 7 minutes. Open air fryer, take the basket out and flip the egg rolls on the other side and fry for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown. They should look like in the picture below.
- Let the egg rolls cool a little.
- Enjoy! Dip with your favorite sauce.
