CRISPY AIR FRYER EGG ROLLS

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over a medium-high heat.
  2. Add onions and sauté until caramelized (10 minutes)
  3. Add garlic, ginger and sauté until fragrant
  4. Add meat. Break apart until meat is browned and cooked through.
  5. Drain the fat (if any, optional)
  6. Add Five spice, other seasonings, soy sauce, and stir.
  7. Add 1/4 cup broth, a package of coleslaw, stir lightly, and cover the pan with the lid.
  8. Lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes
  9. Cool down a little and then it’s time to stuff the egg roll wrappers!
  10. Spoon approximately 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto each egg roll wrapper and fold according to package directions, using the beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrappers.
  11. Arrange stuffed egg rolls in the air fryer basket
  12. Air fry at 380 F for 7 minutes. Open air fryer, take the basket out and flip the egg rolls on the other side and fry for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown. They should look like in the picture below.
  13. Let the egg rolls cool a little.
  14. Enjoy! Dip with your favorite sauce.
