Preparing the Cauliflower

-
Remove the hard stem and leaves from the bottom.
-
Further cut it into medium bite size florets. Set them aside in a bowl.
Breading Cauliflower for Air-frying
-
Take a Mixing Bowl and beat the egg with 2 tbsp water lightly. In another Mixing Bowl, mix Almond Flour, Garlic Powder, Paprika, salt & pepper.
-
Now dip florets with Kitchen Tongs (one at a time) into egg mixture and then coat in the almond flour mix. Note – be careful while coating in almond flour since almond flour tends to clump fast. If you are using All Purpose flour then roll these in the APF mix.
-
Now transfer these coated florets on a clean plate. And line the basket of Air fryer with the Air fryer Parchment Paper.
-
When ready to air fry, transfer these coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper. Spray with oil on top. Air fry at 390*F for 12 minutes. Flip in between at about 7-8 minutes for even cooking.
Making Buffalo Sauce in a frying-pan
-
Meanwhile the cauliflower florets are cooking, prepare the Buffalo sauce. Combine butter and Frank’s Hot Sauce in a Frying Pan over the heat. Cook till butter melts. It’s ready to be dipped.
Dipping the air-fried cauliflower bites in Buffalo Sauce & Air frying again
-
Once the cauliflower wings are cooked, toss them in the hot sauce. And place back in the air fryer. Air fry for 2-3 minutes more for the sauce to cook on top of it. It adds to the texture of the wings.
